…I’m doing a serious project and need your help. Please answer these questions.
What is living in your place like?
What kind of values are important?
How do people prefer to spend their free time?
Please write soon,
Tom
Write a letter to your pen friend in Britain. In your letter:
- answer Tom’s questions,
- suggest three questions about the lifestyle in the place where he lives.
Write 100—140 words.
Dear Tom,
Thanks for your letter. I’m glad to help you with your project.
Living in my place is quite comfortable and peaceful. People are usually friendly and helpful, and life is not too fast. The most important values here are family, honesty, respect and hard work. People try to support each other and keep good relationships with neighbours and friends.
In their free time, people prefer different activities. Many of them spend time with their families, go for walks, watch TV or meet friends. Young people often use the Internet, play sports or go to cafes.
What is life like in your place? What values are important to people there? How do they usually spend their free time?
Best wishes,
Alex
