2. The most strict people are parents.
3. I have freedom to choose my own friends, the music to listen to and how to spend my own money.
4. I think mobile phones and make-up should be banned from school.
5. Parents today should have the right to control the TV programmes their children watch and limit what their children can access via the Internet.
6. I think the following should be allowed at these ages:
   • getting married — at 18 or older
   • getting a driving licence — at 18
   • smoking cigarettes — at 18
   • having tattoos — at 18
   • piercing — at 16
   • part-time jobs — at 14 or 15
   • drinking beer — at 18

Possible class discussion: We think teenagers today have the right amount of freedom. Parents are usually the strictest people, but they should still trust their children. Teenagers should be free to choose their friends, music and money, but school rules are also important. Mobile phones and make-up should not be allowed at school. Parents should control TV programmes and Internet access to protect children. Some things, like marriage, driving and tattoos, should be allowed only when a person is older.
