Eucalyptus and honey tea
Put $$2\text{—}3$$ drops of eucalyptus oil in hot water. Mix some amount of honey and you will have a tea that can cure your cold. You should drink $$\frac{1}{2}$$ cup every four hours.
Basil tea
Take some fresh or dry basil leaves and make the tea. This is another way to cure a cold. Add cinnamon to provide a nice flavour and to ease the congestion.
Cinnamon and thyme mixture
Brewing the combination of cinnamon, dried thyme, and cloves in boiling water can produce an effective drink to ease the cold. After boiling the tea, let it sit for three minutes, strain and drink.
I would use eucalyptus and honey tea because it is simple and effective.
My home remedy recipe:
Put 2–3 drops of eucalyptus oil into a cup of hot water. Add one teaspoon of honey and stir well. Drink half a cup every four hours. This tea can help soothe a sore throat and relieve a cold.
