Look at the cartoon.

• What do you think its message is?
• What other supernatural phenomena do you know about?

The cartoon suggests that people often believe in supernatural things because they want to explain the unknown or because they are curious and easily impressed.

Other supernatural phenomena I know about are ghosts, UFOs, telepathy, clairvoyance, poltergeists, and telekinesis.
