ARE TOURIST GUIDEBOOKS ALWAYS RELIABLE? Most London guidebooks introduce visitors to the principal hotels, recommending a few good restaurants and the virtues of St Paul’s Cathedral. London residents are controversially described as victims of increased pollution and overcrowding, which makes them aggressive.
