1. Read the answers the candidates give to the question “…and what didn’t you like about that work?” and say what makes candidate В sound better.

   Candidate A: “…But it wasn’t very well paid and lasted only a few days.”

   Candidate B: “…But I’m a fairly sociable person and I would much rather do something that involved working with other people…”

Candidate B sounds better because he gives a more positive and natural answer. He does not just say what he did not like; he also explains his personality and shows that he prefers working with other people. This makes his answer more polite, confident and suitable for an interview.
