A: Would you prefer life without television?

B: No, I wouldn’t. Television is a great source of information and entertainment.

A: But people spend too much time watching it. They could use that time more usefully.

B: That’s true, but TV also helps us relax after a hard day and keeps us informed about world events.

A: I think books and the Internet are better sources of information.

B: Maybe, but television is easier to use and more enjoyable for many people.

A: Still, life without television would be quieter and healthier.

B: Perhaps, but I think television is a useful part of modern life.
