1. 4 B. Put the adjectives from the box in two categories: “strong” adjectives, which already have the meaning of very (limit adjectives, e.g. marvellous); adjectives which can have different strengths and degrees and can take the meaning of more or less (gradable adjectives, e.g. good).

Strong adjectives: marvellous, terrible, huge, tiny, freezing, boiling.

Gradable adjectives: good, bad, big, small, cold, hot.
