My most treasured possession is a small silver watch that belonged to my grandfather. It is about 4 centimetres in diameter and more than 50 years old. The watch was made by hand from silver and glass, and its mechanism is still working perfectly.

It is round, elegant and rather old-fashioned. The case is silver-coloured, and the dial is white with black Roman numerals. The watch has a thin metal chain, which makes it look even more special. On the back there is a small engraving with my grandfather’s initials.

What makes this watch truly precious to me is not its value, but the memories connected with it. It reminds me of my grandfather, his kindness and the time we spent together. That is why I keep it in a safe place and treasure it very much.
