What is offered in the following situations?
— Hello, would you like to go to a dance club?
— I don’t really want to go there. Well, you see, I don’t really like that loud music.
— Why not visit the club for teenagers?
— I’d rather not actually. The reason is that I don’t like crowded places.
— A lot of people take this drug, it’s mild. Try it. It’s really exciting.
— I don’t really fancy doing it. It’s like this, you see, I know the destroying result of drug usage.
— Let’s colour our hair purple. It’s really fantastic.
— I’d like to, but the thing is, my parents are against it. Well, I don’t want to argue with them.
— Would you, please, tell us about youth gangs in your country?
— I’m not really willing to do it. The main reason is that I don’t know much about them.
Find out in the conversations:

- how they give reasons.
Guess which conversations took place between friends. Which conversations were between people who do not know each other well? Why do you think so?

3) The first, second and fourth conversations are probably between friends, because the speakers talk more freely and casually. The third and fifth conversations are probably between people who do not know each other well, because the speech is more formal and polite.
