1) I think roller blades are seldom used. A vacuum cleaner is used more often than a camera. And a mobile telephone and a computer are used very often.

2) We can take photographs more easily with a camera. We can cook, defrost and reheat pre-prepared food more quickly with a microwave oven. We can receive or make calls around the home more efficiently with a cordless phone.

3) I think that a computer is the most important thing in the home. We can write programs, play games, find and use information with it. Some of the inventions, for example roller blades, are less important. We do not often use them at home. And I’m sure we can do without a body building machine. We never need it in everyday home life.
