GROUP WORK PROJECT “What Would You Like to Invent?”
If you could invent anything you like, what would it be?
Make groups of three or four pupils. One group will be technical experts. All the other groups will be inventors. Choose a group you would like to join.
Inventors
- Invent a new thing you like.
- Draw a picture, a blueprint (чертеж) or a plan.
- Think about a name for your invention.
- Think how you can use it. What do people need it for?
- Advertise your inventions. Make a poster and advertisement for a radio programme.
- Be ready to present your invention to the experts.
Experts
- Be ready to ask inventors about their creations. How is it called? How does it work? What is it for? And so on.
- Interview all the groups of inventors.
- Choose the most useful inventions and explain your choice.
- You may use the following phrases while discussing the inventions.
