1. Imagine that you want to complain about the same things as Ken or Gary. How would you express your complaints talking to:
   • your foreign friend?
   • your foreign friend’s parents?
   • an adult you do not know very well?

Talking to my foreign friend:

I’m really annoyed about the same things as Ken/Gary. The noise is terrible, and I can’t concentrate. Could you please help me?

Talking to my foreign friend’s parents:

I’m sorry to bother you, but I’d like to complain about the noise. It’s very disturbing, and it makes it hard for me to study. Could you please do something about it?

Talking to an adult I do not know very well:

Excuse me, but I’d like to make a complaint. The noise is very upsetting, and it is difficult for me to concentrate. Would you mind helping to solve this problem?
