My opinion is that the welfare state is very important because it helps people who need support. For example, the government can provide free education, medical care, pensions for old people, and benefits for unemployed citizens. These measures make life safer and fairer for everyone.

In my opinion, a welfare state should exist, but it should also encourage people to work and be responsible. I partly agree that it is useful because it protects poor and vulnerable people. However, I cannot fully agree that the state should support everyone in the same way, because some people may become too dependent on help.
