Dear John,

Thanks for your letter. You asked me about youth organisations in my school and hometown. At school we have a volunteer club, a sports club and an ecology group. The volunteer club helps elderly people and organises charity events. The sports club trains after lessons and takes part in competitions. The ecology group cleans parks and plants trees.

I take part in the ecology group because I think it is important to protect nature. I also help with charity events from time to time.
