Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky was born in 1840 in Votkinsk, Russia. He spent his early years in a well-educated family and showed a love for music from childhood.

He received a good education and later studied at the Saint Petersburg Conservatory, where he learned composition and developed his musical talent.

Tchaikovsky is famous for many great works, including the ballets Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker, as well as the opera Eugene Onegin and his symphonies.

He continued to compose until the end of his life. Tchaikovsky died in 1893, leaving a rich musical legacy that is admired all over the world.
