1. The little swallow flew over the city and saw the Happy Prince standing high above the square. The prince asked him to take a ruby to a poor seamstress. The swallow agreed and helped the people in need.

2. The Happy Prince was covered with gold and jewels, but he wanted to give everything away. He sent his sapphire eyes to help the poor, and the swallow stayed with him until the end.

3. The swallow was tired, but he did not leave the prince. He carried the prince’s messages to the poor children and the hungry man, and the city became a little kinder.
