Упр.55 Unit 1 ГДЗ English Михеева 11 класс
Приведем выдержку из задания из учебника Михеева, Афанасьева 11 класс, Просвещение: 55. A. ln his other essay J. B. Priestley writes about playing music at home. Say if you agree with him and why, in your view, it is becoming a Iost tradffion. Do you think it can or should be revived? J. B. Priestley writes that chamber music at home is delightful. Not so much for listeners as for actual performers. For the author there was “a sort of cosy magic about it. You are at home, all safe and snug, and yet also wandering in spirit” with the music. The author remarks that a lot of music was written for fun, but we tend to forget about it and take it too solemn or serious. The performance may not be ideal, but you can catch the mood of the piece. In conclusion he writes, “…every time a violin is taken up to the lumber room, a piano is carried away, and in their place is a gadget that turns music on and off like tap water, we move another step away from sanity.” B. Nowadays there seem to be a Iot of gadgets playing music. Look at the pictures and name them. C. In pairs discuss if these gadgets are a blessing or a curse. Below there are some ideas that you may develop. • “canned” music and live music • bringing people together or separating them • cost of the gadgets • influence on people’s health • convenience of new hi-fi *Цитирирование части задания со ссылкой на учебник производится исключительно в учебных целях для лучшего понимания разбора решения задания.
J. B. Priestley says that chamber music at home is delightful, and I agree with him. Home music-making creates a special cosy atmosphere and brings people closer together. It is not always perfect, but it is sincere and живое, so you can feel the mood of the piece much better than when you only listen to recorded music.
I think this tradition is becoming lost because people now prefer gadgets and ready-made “canned” music. It is easier to turn on a player or a phone than to play an instrument at home. Also, many people are too busy to learn music or to gather together for it.
In my view, this tradition should be revived. It helps people communicate, develop musical taste and enjoy music more deeply. Even if the performance is not ideal, it is real and warm, and that is what makes it special.
