I think the worst vices are lying, greed, cruelty, hypocrisy and envy.

Lying destroys trust between people. Greed makes a person think only about money and personal gain. Cruelty is hard to forgive because it hurts others. Hypocrisy is unpleasant since a hypocritical person says one thing and does another. Envy is difficult to put up with because it often leads to bad feelings and conflicts.
