B: That’s true, but we don’t use slang in every situation. We know when it is appropriate and when standard English is better.

A: Still, I think it is important to learn proper English first.

B: Of course. But slang does not replace proper English — it just makes everyday speech more lively and modern.

A: Maybe. But I prefer people who speak neatly and politely.

B: And I think a little slang is normal for young people. It helps them feel part of their group and makes communication easier.
