1. Love is an egoism of two. This quotation means that in love two people often think mainly about each other and about their own feelings. Love can make a couple very close, but it can also make them a little selfish and closed to the outside world.

2. Love is the business of the idle, but the idleness of the busy. The idea here is that people who have nothing to do may spend a lot of time thinking about love, while busy people may see love as a rest from work and duties.
