With time people have written its continuation and friendship closes its eyes, meaning that real friends never speak about each other’s faults and imperfections, never criticize each other. 3. Philosophers call Man the most admirable being, but it was Man who performed most outrageous and disgusting things on the earth. 4. There is an opinion that Man is by nature a political animal, but various kinds of surveys show that a lot of people don’t think about politics at all and are politically indifferent. They would rather call Man an apolitical creature.

Topic 1. Love: heaven or hell?
Love is one of the most powerful feelings in human life. Some people compare it with heaven because it brings happiness, inspiration and a sense of harmony. Others, however, say that love is hell, because it can cause pain, jealousy and disappointment.
On the one hand, love makes people kinder and more caring. When a person is in love, life seems brighter and more meaningful. Love gives strength, helps people overcome difficulties and often inspires them to do good things. It also creates families and makes society more stable.
On the other hand, love can be very painful. If feelings are not mutual, a person may suffer a lot. Love can also lead to misunderstandings, quarrels and even broken hearts. Sometimes people become too dependent on the one they love and lose their peace of mind.
To sum up, love can be both heaven and hell. It depends on the situation and on the people themselves. If love is sincere and mutual, it brings happiness. If it is one-sided or destructive, it may become a source of suffering.
