Story 1

It was a cold, windy evening when I got lost in the forest near my grandparents’ house. The trees were swaying wildly, and the path had almost disappeared under the fallen leaves. I had only gone out for a short walk, but now I was alone and frightened.

Suddenly, I heard a faint cry for help. I stopped and listened carefully. “Is anybody there?” I shouted, my voice trembling. The cry came again, this time louder. Following the sound, I found a small boy sitting under a tree, crying because he had twisted his ankle.

I helped him stand up and supported him as we slowly made our way through the dark forest. “Don’t worry,” I said, trying to sound calm. “We’ll get out of here together.” After what felt like hours, we finally saw the lights of a nearby house. The boy’s mother rushed out and hugged him tightly.

In the end, I was relieved and proud that I had not panicked. That night taught me that even in a scary situation, kindness and courage can make all the difference.
