1. Suggest ways that we can minimise water pollution.

We can minimise water pollution in several ways. First, we should never throw toxic waste down a drain or onto the soil. We must also make sure that litter, grass clippings and leaves do not get washed into storm drains. It is important to clean up after our dogs, too.

Another way is to reduce excess water runoff. For example, we should water only the garden, not the pavement, and sweep paths instead of hosing them. We can wash our cars with a bucket of water or take them to a car wash.

Finally, we should use environmentally friendly products, such as compost instead of chemical fertilisers, and never let chemicals or waste go onto the ground or down the drain.
