  Have you ever visited Tsaritsyno?
After reading this would you like to? Give reasons why (not).

Tsaritsyno is a huge palace and park in Moscow. It was originally built as a royal residence for Catherine the Great by the architect Vasiliy Bazhenov in a romantic Gothic style. However, Catherine was unhappy with the building, so many parts were torn down in 1785. Then another architect, Matvey Kazakov, was asked to rebuild it, but the palace was not finished before Catherine’s death.

For about two hundred years, Tsaritsyno became a beautiful ruin, but it was still a favourite place for Muscovites to spend time outdoors. In 1984, the decision was made to restore the estate completely. Now the palace and park have been renovated, and visitors can enjoy museums, exhibitions, concerts, educational programmes, and the beautiful scenery of the park and ponds.

I have never visited Tsaritsyno, but after reading this, I would like to go there because it sounds very beautiful and interesting. I would like to see the restored palace, the park, and the ponds, and learn more about Russian history and culture.
