In my country, people live in different types of homes. In cities, many families live in flats or apartments, while in the suburbs and the countryside there are more detached houses and cottages. Some homes are small and simple, but others are large and modern.
Usually, flats are lived in by young people, couples or small families. Bigger houses are often home to larger families. In the suburbs, houses usually have a garden, a garage and several bedrooms. In the countryside, homes are often surrounded by nature and have more space.
Most homes have all the basic facilities, such as electricity, heating, water and internet. Many modern houses also have balconies, terraces or even a fireplace. People usually make their homes comfortable and cosy.
