I celebrate the New Year with my family. We decorate the house and the Christmas tree, prepare a festive dinner, watch TV, and wait for midnight. At 12 o’clock we make wishes, drink champagne, and set off fireworks. The Old New Year is usually quieter: we just have a small family dinner and enjoy the holiday atmosphere.

I prefer the New Year because it is brighter, more exciting, and everyone is in a festive mood.

I would not like to celebrate Easter twice, because Easter is a special religious holiday, and one celebration is enough for me.
