September 2, 1666

Today started like any other day, but by evening everything changed. A fire broke out in Pudding Lane, and the wind made it spread very quickly. People were shouting, running, and trying to save their homes. I was frightened and could smell smoke everywhere. We packed a few things and left the house as fast as we could.

September 3, 1666

The fire is still burning. It has already destroyed many houses, shops, and churches. The streets are full of people carrying their belongings and looking for safety. The heat is terrible, and the sky is covered with smoke. Everyone is tired and scared, but there is nothing we can do except watch and hope the fire stops soon.

September 4, 1666

Another terrible day. The fire has spread even further, and many more buildings have been lost. Some people are trying to stop it by pulling down houses, but it is very difficult. I feel sad and helpless. London is changing before my eyes, and I cannot believe how much has been destroyed.

September 5, 1666

At last, the fire is dying down. The worst seems to be over, but the city is in ruins. There are ashes, broken walls, and people with nowhere to go. I am exhausted and heartbroken, but also thankful that my family is safe. I will never forget these terrible days in London.
