Sample project:

Dian Fossey was an American zoologist and conservationist. She is famous for her work with mountain gorillas in Rwanda. In 1967, she founded the Karisoke Research Center in the Virunga Mountains and spent many years studying and protecting gorillas.

Fossey learned to understand gorillas’ behaviour and showed that they are gentle, intelligent animals. She fought against poaching and tried to stop people from destroying their habitat. Her work helped the world understand how important it is to protect endangered species.

Sadly, Dian Fossey was murdered in 1985, but her legacy continues. She inspired many people to care about wildlife and nature. Today, she is remembered as one of the most important environmentalists in the world.
