1. Portfolio: Work in pairs. Your neighbour’s dog is keeping you awake at night. Act out a dialogue using phrases from Ex. 4. You can use the dialogue in Ex. 5 as a model.

Student A: Your dog keeps barking at night and it’s keeping me awake.

Student B: I’m really sorry. I didn’t realise it was disturbing you.

Student A: Could you please keep it indoors at night?

Student B: Of course. I’ll make sure it stays inside from now on.

Student A: Thanks. I appreciate it.

Student B: No problem. I hope it won’t happen again.
