There is definitely a point to SETI’s activities. Even if we have not found any signals yet, searching for extraterrestrial intelligence helps us learn more about the universe and our place in it. It also develops new technologies and encourages scientific progress.

On the other hand, some people think it is a waste of time and money because the chances of finding intelligent life are very small. However, I believe that exploration is important, even when the result is uncertain.
