I am writing to suggest some ways in which the local library could attract more young people.

First of all, the library should offer more modern activities. For example, it could organise book clubs, film evenings and creative writing workshops. These events would make the library a more interesting place to visit.

In addition, it would be useful to improve the services. Young people would probably use the library more often if there were free Wi-Fi, more computers and a quiet study area. It would also be a good idea to extend the opening hours, especially in the evenings and at weekends.

Finally, the library could create new sections with books and magazines on topics teenagers are interested in, such as technology, sport, music and careers.

To sum up, if the library offered more activities, better facilities and a wider choice of reading materials, it would become much more popular with young people.
