3. five paragraphs
4. a separate paragraph
5. In the final paragraph, I need to restate and repeat my personal opinion.
Dear Sally,
Thanks for your letter. Kayaking sounds exciting! I’d love to answer your questions.
I think outdoor sports are a great way to stay fit and enjoy nature. If you want to try one, I’d recommend cycling or hiking because they are easy to start and don’t need much equipment. In my opinion, team sports are better because they teach you to work with others and support your friends. My favourite sport is swimming because it is fun and good for health.
Did you enjoy your kayaking trip? Was it difficult to learn? Did you see any beautiful places on the river?
Write back soon.
Best wishes,
[Your name]
All students should wear a uniform at school.
In my opinion, school uniforms should be compulsory for all students. First of all, a uniform creates a sense of equality because everyone looks the same, so students do not compare clothes or feel embarrassed if they cannot afford expensive things. Secondly, uniforms help to make schools look more organised and serious. Finally, they save time in the morning because students do not have to choose what to wear every day.
However, some people believe that uniforms should not be compulsory. They think students should be free to express their personality through clothes and feel more comfortable in what they wear.
I do not agree with this opinion. Students can show their individuality in many other ways, such as through hobbies, behaviour and achievements. Comfort is also important, but school uniforms can be designed to be practical and comfortable.
To sum up, I strongly believe that all students should wear a uniform at school because it is fair, practical and helps create a better school environment.
