It’s time for me!
Hello! I’m Jack Morton. I’m 10.
I like telling stories about my family and friends.
I’ve got Mum, Dad and a little sister.
My mum’s name is Julia.
My dad’s name is David.
My sister s name is Jessica. She is pretty and she is a good friend!
This is our dog. His name is Freddie. He’s very funny!
This Unit is about how we spend TIME in the family.
Lesson 1
What’s the time?
1. Vocabulary. Jack’s sister Jessica is 7 but she can’t tell the time. Jack teaches her to tell the time.
1) Is Jessica a good pupil? Let’s check.
Jack: Look, it’s 7 o’clock.
Now, it’s 5 minutes past seven.
What is the time now?
Jessica: It’s half past seven.
Jack: And now, what’s the time?
Jessica: It’s 20 to eight.
Now, it’s 15 to eight.
Jack: Yes, it’s a quarter to eight.
Jessica: Now you, Freddie. What’s the time?
Bow-wow-wow!
Jessica: Good! It’s three o’clock!

Уточнить время суток можно так:
