• Melissa lives in Moscow, Russia. She is eleven. She is going to be a singer. Melissa has singing lessons and piano lessons. She was three when she started to sing. When she was five, she started writing her songs. Music is her favourite subject at school. She sings at school, at home, and at playtime. We think she will be a very talented singer.
• Alec Medlock lives in California, the USA. He is ten. He loves to read, play sports, play games with his friends, and ride his bicycle. And he loves to study languages, too. Alec went to a French school, and he can speak French very well. He has got many Chinese friends and he is going to study the Chinese language. He is going to speak Chinese very well, too. He thinks he will be a very good language teacher.
