Write about two more creatures like this.
Indonesian porcupines live in holes in the forest floor. They eat leaves and fruit. They have two or three babies each year. Porcupines have long spines on their backs. They can run backwards and stick their spines into other animals.
The platypus lives in lakes and rivers in Australia. It has short legs and a flat tail. It can swim and dive well. It moves fast under water but it can’t run on land. It lays eggs.
Pelicans live in lakes and rivers or near the sea. They lay big blue eggs. They fly very high in the sky but they cannot run. They eat fish. They have a bag under their beak. They catch fish and put it in this bag.
Tree frogs live in trees. They have long, thin legs and their feet have suckers. They can jump and climb well. They lay their eggs on leaves.
Tarantula spiders live in holes in the ground. They eat insects, frogs and mice. They wait and jump on these animals. They cannot run fast. They can climb trees. They lay lots of eggs. Tiny spiders come out of the eggs and then they grow very fast.
