Text One. Every year my family and I go to different places. Last year we travelled to Lake Baikal. The lake and the places around it are very beautiful. We spent a lot of time at the lake, went boating, watched water birds and animals. I took photos which I later showed to my friends at school. They said the photos were very good.
Text Two. My friends like travelling but I don’t. I usually spend my holidays in my granny’s country house in Tarasovkla. It isn’t far from Moscow. My parents come to see me every weekend. I have a lot of time to read, to listen to my favourite music and to ride a bike with my friends. I help granny in the garden too.
Text Three. Last month we had our school holidays. A lot of my friends went to different places. Some of them travelled in Russia and some travelled abroad. I didn’t go travelling because my parents were busy at work. I stayed in Moscow but I wasn’t sorry about it. My friends and I went to the park to skate, visited a museum and a picture gallery, went to the cinema and to the theatre. You can enjoy your holidays at home, I know it.
