It was a day in early autumn. The weather was nice. Colin, a twelve-year-old boy, got up early. He took his dog to the park. In the park the dog stopped near the tree. There was something under the tree. It was a small kitten. Colin took the kitten home. His mother liked it. She said, “You are a good boy, Colin. This kitten will be your birthday present for me.”
