Hi, Kate!
I’m on one of the floating islands of Lake Titicaca in Peru. It is a very unusual place. There are small reed huts here, and the surface of the island is soft and wet. There is one school, but there isn’t a hospital nearby. I like it here because it is quiet and interesting. It’s a unique way of life!

The Uros lifestyle is very different from mine. They live on floating islands and travel by boat. Their homes are small reed huts, and life there is simple. I live in a house in a town, and I go to school by bus or on foot.
