In September, British children are back to school after their summer holidays. Clare is showing her friend Daniel around her school and answering his questions.

Clare: Welcome to Springfield School. This is our classroom.
Daniel: Oh, it’s big and nice. What subjects will you learn in the first form?
Clare: I will learn Science, Geography, Technology and some other subjects. I hope they won’t be difficult. I’ll have my favourite Maths 3 times a week.
Daniel: I don’t like Math. It’s boring. My favourite subject is History. And what after-school activities will you have this year?
Clare: Have a look at our autumn term calendar. We’ll have a lot of interesting activities.
Clare goes to Springfield School. She is in the first form.
She says that in the first form she will learn Science, Geography, Technology and some other subjects. She also says that she will have her favourite Maths three times a week. Clare tells Daniel that they will have a lot of interesting after-school activities this year.
