Приведем выдержку из задания из учебника Кузовлев, Лапа, Перегудова 5 класс, Просвещение: Lesson 3
Have you ever …?
1. After the lessons, the French children went to the library. On that day there was
Children’s Book Day at school. They were happy to meet and talk with Alan Durant who writes books for children.
1) What questions did the children ask Alan?
— I have read Game Boy* this week. It’s very exciting. What other books have you written?
— I have written over seventy books for children. They are of different styles — from picture books for little children to novels and football stories for older children.
— Have you ever written fairy tales?
— Yes, I have. I also write poetry for children and adults and have twice won the Waterstone’s Poetry Competition.
2) What did Alan tell the children about his books? What verb forms did he use to talk about things he has done?
3) Read the rule and check.

1) The children asked Alan:
- What other books have you written?
- Have you ever written fairy tales?
2) Alan told the children that he had written over seventy books for children. They were of different styles — from picture books for little children to novels and football stories for older children. He also said that he wrote poetry for children and adults and had twice won the Waterstone’s Poetry Competition.
He used the Present Perfect to talk about things he has done in his life: have written, have ever written, have won.
3) The rule: we use the Present Perfect to say that an action happened in the past, but the exact time is not important. We often use it with ever, never, already, yet, just.
