You are talking with your friend from Britain about your hobbies. You begin the conversation. Don’t forget to ask:
- what his/her hobby is;
- how long he/she has done it for;
- what competitions he/she has taken part in;
- what prizes he/she has won.
Answer your friend’s questions about your hobby.
Pupil Card 2
You are talking with your Russian friend about your hobbies. Listen to your partner and answer his/her questions. Ask him/her about his/her hobby. Don’t forget to ask:
- what his/her hobby is;
- how long he/she has done it for;
- what competitions he/she has taken part in;
- what prizes he/she has won.
Here is a possible dialogue:
A: Hi! What is your hobby?
B: I like playing football.
A: How long have you been doing it?
B: I have been playing football for three years.
A: What competitions have you taken part in?
B: I have taken part in school football competitions and a city tournament.
A: What prizes have you won?
B: I have won a gold medal and a diploma.
B: And what is your hobby?
A: My hobby is drawing.
B: How long have you been doing it?
A: I have been drawing for five years.
B: What competitions have you taken part in?
A: I have taken part in a school art competition.
B: What prizes have you won?
A: I have won a first prize.
