My trip to the capital
I have been to Moscow this year. I was there for seven days in June. I stayed at the Hilton Hotel, which is in the centre of Moscow. I travelled with my parents and my brother. I visited different places and areas in Moscow. I saw the Kremlin, Red Square, the Bolshoi Theatre, St Basil’s Cathedral and TSUM, and I went to the Tretyakov Gallery. My favourite sight is the Kremlin. I like it because there are a lot of historic buildings there. I had a good time in Moscow. The best day of the trip was when I went on an excursion about Soviet Russia. My favourite souvenir is a magnet with Moscow sights. I bought it in Red Square. I am going to visit Moscow again. I think I’ll learn something new.
A trip I’d like to take
I have never been to Spain. I’d like to go there because I really like Spanish culture and history. I’ll go there with my parents. I want to stay in a hotel in the city centre for seven days. I want to visit Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia. I want to try traditional Spanish food. I think I’ll go on an excursion about Spanish castles. I would also like to meet some local people and talk to them.
