WRITING

Children from different countries often write letters to British newspapers to talk about the things they can do well. What will you write about?

Don’t forget to write:

• about the things that you can do well;
• how long you have done them;
• what you have learnt to do this year.

Write a letter of about 50—70 words. Do the task in your exercise book.

Dear newspaper,

I can do many things well. I can play the piano and draw pictures. I have played the piano for three years, and I have drawn since I was little. This year I have learnt to swim. I am very happy about it because now I can swim in the pool with my friends.

Best wishes,
Kate
