Russia is the largest country in the world. It is in Europe and Asia. The capital of Russia is Moscow.

Russia has many beautiful cities, forests, rivers and mountains. The longest river is the Volga. The highest mountain is Elbrus.

The weather in Russia is different in different parts of the country. In winter it is often cold and snowy. In summer it can be warm and sunny.

Russia is famous for its culture, history and traditions. People celebrate many holidays, such as New Year, Victory Day and Maslenitsa.

Some famous Russian symbols are the Kremlin, matryoshka dolls and the balalaika.
