In May I travelled to Russia by plane and spent two weeks with my friends in Moscow. I also visited some interesting places around Moscow. One of them is the famous town Suzdal with a lot of churches and nice wooden houses.
Moscow is a wonderful green city. On the first day of my visit my friend took me to Red Square which is very old and very beautiful with St Basil’s Cathedral and the Kremlin wall. We walked in Alexandrovsky Garden with its high trees and flowerbeds. Then we went to the Bolshoi Theatre. I saw the monument to Alexander Ostrovsky, a great Russian writer. We had a boat trip on the Moskva River. The water road in the centre of the capital is not as busy as its streets. We saw some bridges across the river and very interesting buildings too.
