People in America love sports at all kinds. Many people play sports in their free time, and many go to games or watch them on TV. One of the most popular sport is football. Millions of people watch football each weekend during the autumn and winter. Baseball is also very popular. They play football in the spring and summer while in the winter they play basketball. Basketball started in America in the nineteenth century. People wanted to play sports in winter, but it was too cold outside. Basketball was a game they could play inside, in the gyms. Each school in the USA has its own team of young athletes. The pupils and their families and friends come to watch school games. Thousands of children play baseball at weekends. School games can be as much fun as the big games.
