1. Columbus and his discovery. Christopher Columbus was born in Italy. He lived in Spain and was a sailor. He made sea voyages and was interested in India. Columbus knew that the planet was round, so he decided to sail west. He arrived in Central America and discovered the New World.
2. Native Americans. Native Americans came to America from Asia. They lived in different tribes and lived in wigwams, or wooden houses. They hunted animals and fished. Later they fought with Europeans and defended their land.
