Moscow is a big and important city. It is the capital of Russia. It is very large and has many green parks. Tourists come to see its places of interest, because there is a lot to see and to do there.

Moscow is an old city. Its history began before 1147. Moscow was founded by Yuri Dolgoruky, who built the Kremlin on the high bank of the river. The city grew and changed fast.

The city centre of Moscow is the Kremlin and Red Square. It is the oldest territory in the city. There you can see beautiful buildings in Red Square and listen to the Kremlin Clock. Red Square is the most important square in Moscow.

Moscow is the city of Russian culture. There are a lot of universities and schools, a good collection of pictures, theatres and opera houses. There are also many places children can visit with their parents.
