Hi Tom,
This summer I’m doing some volunteer work for my city. I help at a local community centre and take part in cleaning parks and streets. It’s hard work, but I really enjoy it because I feel useful. I’ve also met some friendly people and made new friends. We are planning a charity event next week, so I’m very busy at the moment.
Write back soon and tell me your news!
Best wishes,
Alex
